Benefit of Gypsum granules over Bentonite granule
- 1. Gypsum granules cost less than Bentonite granules. Hence better product at lower rates.
- 2. Gypsum act as Micro nutrient such as Ca, Mg and Sulphur whereas bentonite is an inert and act as only carrier material.
- 3. Technical liquids are coated directly in case Bentonite and coating is uneven and accuracy is very low, where as in Gypsum technical are mixed with raw materials, hence the accuracy of mixing is very high up to 99%.
- 4. The granules are of uniform size and shape and far better than bentonite granules.
- 5. While manufacturing of Bentonite with technical in ribbon blender 10 to 15% process loss has been seen, as bentonite broke down to small pieces and forms in to powder.
- 6. The strength of gypsum granules remains intact during packing and logistics where as bentonite might be broken in to powder.
- 7. Gypsum based granules when contact with water, it immediately disperses, releasing 100% technical, hence give faster and better results in the field, whereas bentonite granules remain undispersed.
- 8. There is lot provision of addition Bio stimulant in the Pre-Mix such as Potassium humate, Seaweed, Amino acid, Fulvic or Micronutrient, whereas in Bentonite it is not possible.
- 9. Gypsum has Ca, mg, and sulphur and other traces elements which supports growth of the plants, all these are absent in bentonite.
